Development of an automated control system for the technological process of heating workpieces in a ring furnace

This work is devoted to the development of a control system for the technological process of heating work pieces in a ring furnace, in order to increase economic efficiency and save energy resources. The paper develops an automatic control system by replacing outdated electronic devices with modern ones, using the Mitsubishi industrial controller MELSEC iQ-R series as the basis for the automatic control system. The process of preheating work pieces is the heating of a pipe billet to a certain temperature, followed by plastic deformation.
