Abstract
Parsing is a technique for processing of sentence. Clinical parser is used for clinical narratives by using medical lexicons. These clinical narratives is in unstructured format so parser is used for converting in to structured format so that it can be readable by anyone. Clinical Parser depends on type of reports as different medical reports is having different format as well as these reports differ from hospital to hospital also. In this paper we are describing about clinical parser for different types of reports by using phrase structured grammar rules. PCFG (probabilistic context free grammar) is used for approximation of tree in which each rule is having probability.
