AN ANALYSIS ON COVID-19 ACTIVE AND RECOVERED CASES IN ASSAM USING KAPLAN–MEIER PRODUCT–LIMIT FORMULA

Covid-19 (Corona virus disease) is an infectious disease caused by the novel corona virus which is believed to have origin from the wet market of Wuhan in China. India is currently the second worst affected country by this pandemic, state of Assam is also witnessing an increase in number of cases day by day. In this paper we analyze the number of newly diagnosed infected cases with the number of recovered cases from 1st July, 2020 to 27th August, 2020 using the Kaplan-Meier method.
