Abstract
Several studies have shown that stress and mental health, with close relationships and economic crisis, have assessed stress levels and mental health issues among S.M.E. Businessmen and identified mediating variables between stress and mental health. The target population is S.M.E. Businessmen in Bangalore. The sample size is 200; methods have been introduced like The Stress Scale (S.S.) by M.Singh and Middle-Sex Questionnaires (M.H.Q.). Findings show that there is a difference in stress and mental health among S.M.E. Businessmen. Anxiety plays a mediating function between stress and mental well-being for Businessmen. Stressors such as loss in business, immense pressure on payments, health problems, depression, anxiety, phobia, and hysteria in the direction of greed – increased stress and tension affect mental health among Businessmen.
