Abstract
Authentication is one of the most important processes required to access safe and private data in the cloud environment. Authentication of users is usually followed through text-based passwords. Attackers uses some existing techniques easily obtain the text based password of a user. Text based passwords are secure-but-difficult-toremember, Nowadays used some other methods where in images are used as passwords. Image based authentication allows user to create multilevel user authentication techniques has more advantages over text-based passwords. Image based authentication password is memorable and very easier for persons to use. This paper is mainly concentrates on Image-based Multi-level User Authentication (IBMUA) to enhance authentication concerning the security of cloud users' data. Authentication deals with the identification of the user , creating a password by using a images and the four levels such as Traditional authentication ,identify image authentication ,odd one out image authentication, image mapping authentication, images are used during registration and login phase.
