Abstract
Academic mentoring processes include organising students' workflow and monitoring their academic progress. Recent challenges, including the global coronavirus pandemic, have highlighted the need for providing resilient and robust mechanisms for mentoring students in higher education institutions while utilising all possible educational strategies to continue students' education. With ubiquitous elearning, technological advancements and evolving processes, e-mentoring systems have become more necessary and relevant than ever. Therefore, this study addresses the problems faced by students, teachers and administrators in monitoring students' learning and proposes an effective e-mentoring system for serving higher education institutions.
