Abstract

Latest advancements in remote communication tools prompted the development of Vehicular Ad-hoc System (VANET). The principle objective of VANET is to build up communication between vehicles. Each automobile in VANET must be admitted to develop a strong and secure network communication. There might be malevolent vehicles in the system which must be recognized after legitimate enrollment. Recognizing malevolent vehicles and controlling the traffic assumes a significant job in VANET. Such noxious vehicles must be detached and should not be allowed to look into the framework further. In this paper, the current AODV protocol has been reasonably adjusted to accomplish this and has been altered as Robust AODV (RAODV) protocol. In RAODV, a vehicle is identified as malicious, if the minimum distance between the vehicles is not maintained or on the off chance that the speed of the vehicle changes out of nowhere or if the vehicle doesn't send an acknowledgment to the trusted authority. These set up safety efforts were investigated utilizing the exhibition measurements Packet Delivery Ratio, Packets Dropped, Delay and Routing Overhead. 9
