Abstract
Processes can be structured or unstructured, simple or complex which can also be repeatable or variable. When these processes are bought into business, it is a systematic series of events or tasks that are conducted for a business to operate and achieve the goals of the organization. Business process management is the process methodology to manage the workflow in organizations. With the advent in technology, business process has moved from tweaking the business functions to optimizing entire business processes. The significance of business process automation grew because of the increasing volatility of the market, competition in the market, globalization and need for faster process improvements. Now, BPM is evolved as software process automation tools in leveraging businesses to increase the efficiency, performance and day-to-day operations of the businesses. Robotic Process Automation is the one such newest solution to automate business processes across enterprises using software robots. They carry out prosaic and repetitive tasks and allow the human workforce to accomplish more creative assignments. In this paper, we are trying to signify the importance of Robotic Process Automation in Business Process Management that can help improve the efficiency, accuracy, performance and effectiveness of any business process.
