SOCIAL ENGINEERING ATTACK

The cyber world is irreplaceable today owing to the fact that we need it in every detail in our life including in education, medical, economic, communication and a lot of other things. However, this world confronts many threats that may destroy data, systems and people. One of the most common menaces that face the cyber field is a social engineering arena, in which social engineers are targeting people to use them to launch a cyber attack and take some advantages. We need to protect ourselves, systems and data in all possible ways. Machine learning is a defense technique against the social engineering threats. This type of technique requires data to learn and train a machine. In this paper, we will display some works that depend on machine learning techniques and show the data that was used in these approaches. We will also mention the social engineering concept and its threats.
