Abstract
The MHD channel flow through porous medium of linear Phan-Thien-Tanner (PTT) conducting fluid is measured to study the momentum transport phenomena exhibiting viscoelastic behavior subjected to two body forces such as electromagnetic force and force due to porosity of the medium. Homotopic perturbation technique has been implied to resolve the governing calculation. The interesting findings are: Magnetic parameter M acts as a resistive force whereas porosity parameter Kp acts as an aiding force. The higher value of Deborah number (De ) accelerates the velocity of flow which commensurate with the elasticity of the fluid considered. The rate of shearing stress imparts larger curvature effect in the velocity distribution near the bounding surfaces.
