Sustainable development can be achieved only if due importance is being given to the local businesses. The present study makes a comparative analysis among the selected women entrepreneurs in a few northeastern states of India. The main objective of the study is to compare the women entrepreneurs of Aizawl with the women entrepreneurs of Itanagar with different variables. The paper also attempted to compare the marketing aspects of womenowned businesses of both northeastern cities. The women entrepreneurs are selected on the basis of the quota sampling technique for the study. All together 60 numbers of women entrepreneurs have been selected for the study. The study found few differences among the entrepreneurs of Aizawl and Itanagar in regard to their business approach.
