Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) is a linkage between individual and items, anywhere, anyplace, anytime, any platform, any provider. IoT is, therefore, an immense complex international network system of internet services-enabled organizations. Iot is a networking term that, due to detectors as well as other wireless devices, can link multiple and specific objects to the Web. The Smart Grid (SG) is amongst the most essential IoT technology. Smart Grid is a information transmission network incorporated with the power grid to gather the transmission line information, production stations, and end users. Through smart grids, such concept can be applied to improve the efficiency and collaboration with smart flows, automobiles and alternative energy resources. The smart grid is one of the advanced city concept technologies. It is a control and monitoring framework for energy usage. Smart grids are focused on service-consumer interaction. The purpose of this review paper is to define the potential role of the Internet of things in smart grids in the sense of vast amounts of data to be moved to smart grids..
