Abstract
The article describes the features of energy relations during shot-impact hardening of machine parts. On the basis of schematization and analysis of the contact interaction of the fraction with the processed surface, dependencies are obtained for calculating the speed recovery coefficient at impact, which is the main informative indicator for evaluating the residual stress and thermal state of the surface layer of critical machine parts and mechanisms.
