Abstract
Mobile Augmented Reality (AR) development is receiving much attention nowadays. The application has been used in entertainment, education, tourism and so on. AR application continues to grow incrementally. As the AR toolkit is getting mature, the development of AR application is still a tedious job. There is still lacking a neither comprehensive methodology nor systematic way to analyze, design and develop the AR application. This paper presents an initial work to introduce a systematic way for AR development through Agent-Oriented Methodology (AOM), grounded from physical annotation models. In this paper, we will reveal how to analyze, design, and implement a mobile AR application from scratch guided by AOM. A walkthrough example in adopting the proposed methodology for mobile AR application development reveals the usefulness of the methodology to develop the mobile AR application in systematic manner.
