MOBILE LEARNING IN EDUCATION: ADVANTAGES AND CHALLENGES

In the 21st century Information and communication technology (ICT) have influenced every aspects of our life including business, travel and education. While there are various new technologies are used in teaching-learning process, mobile learning is most popular, easily accessible than other form of E-learning. As there are several features in mobile devices that can be used in learning, many educational scholars and practitioners have incorporated this technology in teaching and learning environment. Therefore, this new form of learning has significantly affected the teaching-learning process. Through M-learning students can learn anything in anywhere and anytime as per their needs and interests. Though M-learning has significant positive impact on education, there are some issues and challenges in Mlearning that cannot be ignored. Therefore, the present study is an attempt to discuss about the advantages and challenges of M-learning in education.
