Abstract
The article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of blended learning in general secondary education. The challenges posed by the formation of the global communication space have posed new challenges to general secondary education institutions. The introduction of information and computer technologies in the educational process of general secondary education institutions has launched a powerful mechanism for adapting the education system around these processes around the world. The shortcomings and positive experience of managing a general secondary education institution and the introduction of blended learning in the educational process are outlined. Positive experience of introduction of distance, network and individual learning, current features of blended learning in general secondary education, analysis of disadvantages and advantages of traditional methods of providing educational services in emergency conditions, including quarantine measures in Ukraine and around the world. The idea of using elements of asynchronous and synchronous distance learning in blended learning is that a certain part of the subjects students learn traditionally, using full-time education, and the other part – on the technology of individual, network and distance learning. The system of organization of an educational institution as a social phenomenon is considered in several aspects: as a system that provides it; educational environment that characterizes and reflects its components and subsystems; as a variety of forms of education offered in the institution of general secondary education; as a process of assimilation by the student of education of the generalized social experience, norms, values, acquisition of knowledge; as a consequence of the influence of the teaching staff of the educational institution – training and education of a conscious citizen of Ukraine – a competitive graduate.
