Abstract
This research plays a significant role in developing an improved interstice and traffic management system to deal with mixed traffic conditions in Bengaluru. The research was undertaken on a real-time basis in order to acquire primary quantitative and qualitative data as well as to conduct a content analysis of key components. This enabled the researcher to evaluate various aspects of the issue such as lack of appropriate infrastructure, conditions leading to a rise in pedestrian flow and the present actions taken by responsible authorities in this region. In order to approach the research in an unbiased and objective manner, the philosophy of positivism was incorporated
