LANE DETECTION IN REAL TIME ENVIRONMENT USING EMBEDDED SYSTEMS

This paper objective is to use Video Processing Techniques to identify lane lines on the road based on Hough transform and color thresholding using MATLAB and FPGA. The main aim of the paper is to improve the accuracy and real-time performance of the detection algorithm. Our main Motivation for implementing assistance Systems is to improve driving safety and prevent traffic accidents caused by driver inattention, lane change assistance will alert driver while driving the car.
