Abstract
In recent times, the use of robotics has increased to a very large extent. We see this robotics in each and every field and knowingly or unknowingly depend on them. The ideology behind this paper is how movement of wheelchair can be controlled by hand gestures. It consists of an accelerometer which is responsible for the handling of the chair. It is a device which takes the movement of hand as an input based on the angular displacement and the data from the hand gesture is transmitted to the motor driver IC over a RF link (RF Transmitter - Receiver pair). The data from the accelerometer is processed by an Arduino and then transmitted to the receiver end and then the command is executed.
