Abstract
A semi anechoic chamber (SAC) is an electromagnetic pollution free all weather multi functional test environment for commercial, military, R&D and automotive testing. This paper gives an overview of the design & development of a SAC. At first, the basic working principle behind the SAC is reviewed and then design philosophy with constructional details is discussed in brief. Validation Testing of the SAC has been performed through the Shielding Effectiveness Testing based on IEEE STD 299-2006 and Reflectivity Measurement based on IEEE STD 149 -1979.
