Abstract

Tourism is a dynamic and multifaceted activity that presents in the social, cultural, psychological, spatial and economic spheres. This is one of the most effective means of generating significant foreign exchange earnings, creating new jobs, and stimulating the development of social and market infrastructures. Tourist information centers are very important structural elements of the advertising and information infrastructure of the tourism industry. It can direct tourist flows to a particular region and increases financial revenues to local budgets. This article is devoted to the study of the experience of Irkutsk tourism in developing a strategy for promoting tourist information centers for the development of tourism to other cities of Russia.
