DISCOURSE: SOCIAL COMMUNICATIVE AND CULTURAL GENIC PARAMETERS OF INTERPRETATION

The phenomenon of discourse as multidimensional and multifaceted construct is discussed in the article; the fundamental difference in interpretation of discourse by the Western and Russian Linguistics is considered in the article; that is determined by the specific features of structural pragmatic modus of the Russian and a number of other Indo-European languages. The text synthesizes verbal entities and discourse qualities, being a phenomenon in the basis of discourse. Semiotic processuality of the text and discourse activity as a final product – text and discourse – is relevant for the theory of discourse
