Abstract
The article deals with the main problems of teaching foreign languages on linguistic and nonlinguistic Departments of Universities. Special attention is paid to the problems of the amount of educational time, the peculiarities of fieldtrip practice, and the questions of textbook choice for nonlinguistic departments. The author reveals the modern methods and recourses used in educational process today and some prospects of development that can effectively correct the educational process
