BASIC PRINCIPLES FOR DEFINITION AND EVALUATION OF INNOVATIVE POTENTIAL OF IRON ORE ENTERPRISES

Modern crisis conditions that have a negative impact on many raw materials, including on the market for iron ore raw materials, necessitate the formation of a mechanism for innovative development of particular iron ore enterprises, which is impossible without a thorough and well-balanced approach to the definition and evaluation of their innovation potential. Among the large number of scientific works and practices, there are no unanimously accepted interpretations of the relevant terminology and the main approaches to assessing directly the innovation potential, taking into account the current changes in the innovation climate and in general in the country's economy. In the work, a detailed study of existing approaches to the definition of the economic category “innovative potential of the enterprise” and the main directions of the theory of innovation enterprise are given. Among the many approaches to defining the category of “innovative potential of the enterprise”, the most comprehensive, comprehensive and comprehensive range of activities of the iron ore company is defined. The types of innovative potential of the enterprise, their characteristics and sources of financing are given. It is determined that the fact that the disclosure of innovative potential encounters the overcoming of external barriers, which can be characterized as an innovative climate, must be taken into account. Innovative climate can be considered as a combination of environmental factors that affect the innovative potential of the enterprise. It is also noted that in addition to the innovative climate, the company's innovation culture has a significant impact on the company, with the participation of which it is possible to achieve acceleration and increase of the efficiency of introduction of new technologies and inventions, real counteraction to bureaucratic tendencies, and promotion of the disclosure of the innovative potential of the individual. It is proved that the innovative potential of any enterprise, including iron ore, is a complex dynamic system of generation, accumulation and transformation of scientific, managerial ideas and scientific and technical, marketing, etc. results into innovative products based on the implementation of a continuous process of enterprise management. The components of innovation potential are highlighted and the basic aspects that need to be taken into account when evaluating it especially in the context of iron ore enterprises are emphasized.
