Abstract

The article explores the theoretical and practical issues of the characteristics of analysis and synthesis as activities. The methodological and praxeological aspects of their application for making effective management decisions are considered. The activity-specific context of analysis and synthesis consideration is determined by the objective conditions for the development of the productive forces of society, which cause the transformation of the management functions of economic, social, environmental and other processes of functioning entities at various levels. This, in turn, necessitates the formation of adequate analysis and synthesis systems that provide the information needs of both state macro-level and mesoscale institutions (primarily, the formation of strategies and tactics for ensuring economic independence and national security), as well as management, owners and employees of an individual entity « The realities of the modern economy are such that the effectiveness of activities is increasingly dependent on the quality of information, significant The integral part of which is formed precisely in the systems of analysis and synthesis. Consequently, the concepts of analysis and synthesis become means of creating the main resource of the post-industrial economy — information. Information analytical and synthetic activities are distinguished as independent, socially significant types of it. It is proved that the transformation of the economy in the new information environment causes the need for the formation of analysis and synthesis as activities. In this regard, it is argued that they are implemented within a business entity (service, auxiliary management function) and as a separate type of activity, refers to the service sector. The justification of the design methodology and praxeology of the appointment of effective systems of analysis and synthesis as activities confirmed their capabilities: ensuring the effective functioning, stability and development of the research object in a competitive environment; increasing the effectiveness of multilevel management systems due, first of all, to target orientation, integration and coordination of all processes; timely identification and minimization of threats of both the external environment and intra-systemic risks; optimizing the use of resource potential; the formation of a management information support system that meets modern conditions makes it possible to timely adapt functional states through the adoption of balanced management decisions.
