Abstract

The concept of "scientific picture of the world" implies a certain combination of different views and methodologies, but it certainly has its own specifics in national scientific communities. In creating a scientific picture of the world, two factors struggle and, at the same time, interact – the individual and society, the individ- ual and the public. Specialization of scientific disciplines as part of the national picture of the world occurs sim- ultaneously with the process of establishing interdisciplinary connections. The purpose of the article is to consid- er the peculiarities of the national approach to this problem. The object of research is the philosophy of science of the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard
