PROBLEMS AND TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND THE IMPACT ON THE HOTEL INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE

The article highlights the problems of international tourism development, substantiates the promising areas of research of the tourism industry in Ukraine. The regional tourist market of Ukraine is analyzed within the framework of the research of the international tourist industry. The modern changes of the international market of tourism and hotel economy are investigated. Considerable attention is paid to the influence of macroeconomic environment factors, in particular — demographic, social, economic, political and other factors on the dynamics, structure of tourism. However, even in the spectrum of international development, tourism remains regional and national in nature. Therefore, a significant part of the study is devoted to the development of tourism of regional content. At the same time, the field of international tourism is a source of replenishment of the national treasury and allows to diversify the economy, which indicates the priority and importance of the development of this industry. In the context of the global economic crisis, the study of trends in international tourism in modern realities remains extremely relevant. The primary task of Ukraine, as a tourist state, to enter the leading tourist countries of the world, is to develop a whole complex that serves this industry, including hotel businesses. Therefore, the prospects for the development of the hotel industry of Ukraine are analyzed.
