Abstract
Frailty is the concept of estimate the unobserved heterogeneity in considered model. This paper is an attempt of frailty model for the study of effect of heterogeneity on infant mortality with some of its determinants. Study region for this paper is considered as Uttar Pradesh, India, Which is central state and highly participating state in demography of India. The study has been applied through National Family Health Survey-IV (2015-16) data for Uttar Pradesh.
