Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors explaining Saudi students' entrepreneurial intention. To this end, we combined two models, namely Shapero and Sokol's model (1982) and Ajzen's model of intention (1991). The validation of this combined model on a sample of Saudi students has shown a significant and positive impact of students' attitude towards entrepreneurship, subject norms, perceived behavioural control and entrepreneurial intention. According to the obtained results, the first hypothesis test demonstrates statistically significant differences in the examined sample responses in relation to the students' attitude to entrepreneurship at a significant level less than 0.05. Consequently, we can say that there is a direct and positive relationship between students' attitude towards entrepreneurship and their entrepreneurial intention. These results prove the quality of the study and the hypotheses presented, but in an acceptable proportion in its overall form.
