Abstract
In the article there were analyzed theoretical backgrounds for defining the concept ?banking service? by scientists from different countries: considered its main characteristics and classification, determined the key peculiarities of the world market functioning of banking services and its structure, found out the present-day developments of the world market of banking services under conditions of post-crisis period.
