EXPLORING WOMEN SAFETY IN ORGANIZATION

The participation of women workforce is changing the working environment, posing challenges as well as creating opportunities for harnessing high growth and profitability from a diverse workforce. As organizations embrace the gender diversity with open hearts, a need of providing safe working conditions for the women employees is also increasingly becoming need of the hour; crime against women is no longer restricted to the four walls of the home but it is slowly and steadily spreading its tentacles to the cubicles of offices also. Although, the organizations are taking a number of measures to ensure women safety at workplace, yet much more needs to be done ensure gender equality in the world of work.
