SIMULATING THE MUSKINGUM FLOOD ROUTING MODEL WITH STELLA

Research has been carried out on the use of the Stella application to solve the flood routing problem using the Muskingum Model. Experiments were carried out using two basic map models to see the size of the storage using only the continuity equation. Furthermore, the two models were further developed by involving the Muskingum equation by entering the value of parameter ????,, which has been estimated using other applications. The results showed that the two basic models gave the same yields, as well as the development of the two models also gave the same results. The results of further testing comparing the storage obtained from this experiment with the results obtained by manual calculation with the paired t-test show results that are very close to the 5% confidence level.
