Abstract
To transmit information through any communication system, the performance of that system should such that no noise should enter in transmitting data. In optical wireless communication system Fluorescent Light Interference (FLI) affects a signal a lot. In this paper, a new technique is proposed with which the performance of the optical communication system can be enhanced. This new technique is Stationary wavelet Transform (SWT) having numerous applications in the field of Image Processing for denoising the noisy image. Here, SWT is used to overcome the drawbacks of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Using noise reduction and, improved efficiency the overall performance of the optical wireless communication system is improved in the proposed system using SWT.
