Abstract
In today's world crop production is the major occupation for most of the people but it lacks in one side i.e. crop disease detection. We have a series of devices to detect and monitor crop diseases but either they are difficult to adopt or they are unaffordable by most of the farmers. If we focus on Indian scenario we will find that the rice production is the major crop throughout India. Farmers grow paddy or rice crop on a large scale but these crops get affected by disease easily due to lack of monitoring. Rice diseases have caused major economic loss to farmers who are involved in rice production. If we look at the current scenario we will find that rice production get hit by different kinds of diseases like blast or sheath blight. In this paper we are giving a novel architecture for a monitoring system to detect the diseases of rice. The model proposed here will help in detecting the rice diseases as well as will suggest the farmers to what to do and what kind of steps to be carried out to keep the crop safe from diseases.
