Abstract
The purpose of this article is to review those researches that have employed Soft-Computing Techniques of formulating agricultural policies. A total of 41 publications were obtained after a meticulous search which was later categorized using a Soft-Computing technique previously used in the research, thus determining the type of applications carried out, including the countries from where the research were performed. Also, it was found that the results of Soft-Computing show both that these research have been performed since the last 15 years, and that Soft-Computing has been used to gather information to feed the process of formulation of agrarian policies for production processes, efficient use of resources, and to develop environmentally friendly techniques. Lastly, it was determined that the United States and China are the leading user countries of these tools. The main conclusion is based on the fact of the usefulness of Soft-Computing in the formulation of agrarian policies.
