EVALUATION THE SPECIALIZED EQUIPPED SITE FOR CONSTRUCTING THE METRO TUNNELING WITH TBM IN URBAN AREA

In recent years, the creation of underground space with tunneling has increased, which has facilitated underground work with minimal impact on surface structures or traffic. Especially in urban areas with sensitive infrastructure and high productivity, the construction of such infrastructure is inevitable. These spaces have so far been mainly traffic-related and can be used for other purposes such as power stations, warehouses, shelters, water tunnels, and underground urban environments. These tunnels are increasing for different purposes and uses, including transportation and water conduction tunnels for various uses. The implementing mechanized tunnel drilling methods are necessary because, reduced the time consuming for construction of tunnel, and at the same time difficulty of using traditional tunneling method in the complex structure. Therefore, today, the use of mechanized drilling methods by the TBM tunnel drilling machine has received much attention Equipping such a method, in addition to providing TBM drilling machine and construction of segment factory and entrance portal, requires specialized equipment, including supply of manpower for technicalexecutive units, supply of cooling and consuming water of TBM machine, supply of high pressure electric power consumption of TBM machine and tunnel lighting, supply of tunnel rinsing equipment, supply of tunnel ventilation equipment and spare parts and consumable parts of TBM device. In this paper, the research method is based on a case study on Ahvaz city in south of Iran urban metro construction project (which is under construction by Earth Pressure Balance EPB type by TBM), and according to the studies conducted on the geological structure of the region by consulting engineers and the technical office of the Ahvaz metro project and the use of other articles and experiences countries, which are mentioned in the references of this paper, the method used is reviewed and presented
