Abstract
Natural fibers based composite are mostly used these days in various applications due to the properties such as low weight, renewability, biodegradability and ecofriendly and ease to work. In the present study mechanical and thermal behavior of natural fiber campsites .The brake pad composites is developed by using the hemp fibers to find the alternative for brake industries. The composites were developed by increasing hemp fibers amount from 5-20%.The results of physico-mechanical properties reveal that tensile Modulus, ultimate compressive strength, impact energy, Flexural strength showing good performance at 10wt% fibers contents in composites matrix, and ultimate tensile strength ,shear strength and proof showing good performance at 15wt% fibers contents in brake pad composites. Thermal stability for hemp fibers composites increase with increases the fiber contents.
