Abstract

Learning is a basic hotspot of modern management that may help in coping business challenges and influence job satisfaction of the employees. This may also help in overcoming quit intentions of employees which is a serious problem faced by banking sector. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among job satisfaction, organizational support, and organizational learning environment with employees' turnover intention. The study employs quantitative research technique and is cross sectional in nature. The data was collected through questionnaires from different banks of Lahore in Pakistan. The results show a significant relationship between organizational learning environment and job satisfaction. Also, organizational learning environment and job satisfaction has a significant but negative impact on employees' turnover intention. Job satisfaction is found to act as a partial mediator between organizational learning environment and turnover intention while perceived organizational support moderates the relationship of organizational learning environment and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction and organizational learning environment has a significant negative relationship with turnover intention, but organizational learning environment is positively related to job satisfaction thus study entails that organizational learning environment increases job satisfaction and decreases turnover intention. This study has its implications for the related stakeholders and sheds light on the aspect of factors helping in stay and avoid quitting intentions in the banking sector.
