Abstract
Due to increasing demand in energy sources, renewable energy sources started to get popular because it does not pollute the environment and abundant in nature. Solar power is the most popular among other renewable energy sources since it can be harnessed in all areas of the world and is available every day. We cannot run out of solar energy, unlike some of the other sources of energy. Despite their advantages, these panels are stationary and require more space. The more electricity you want to produce, the more solar panels you will need, as you want to collect as much sunlight as possible. Origami-based folding patterns are proposed in this paper which can be used in these Solar panels to bring down the space that is required to install them.
