ROLE OF SOCIAL SUPPORT IN QUALITY WORK LIFE OF AN INDIVIDUAL – A REVIEW

In day to day work life, social support is an important element to balance the quality work life of an individual. The occupational stress that occurs in the job is an unavoidable element; to mediate the stress social support is one of the highly required factor. The present paper is an attempt to examine the relationship between social support and the quality work life of an individual by a review of studies conducted in India and Worldwide. The findings of the study postulate a positive relationship between social support and quality work life of an individual.
