LESSONS FROM THE QUID-19 EPIDEMIC IN THE EDUCATIONAL PLANNING OF THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING, FERDOWSI UNIVERSITY OF MASHHA

Abstract
E-learning and its gradual influence on the higher education system has been considered by experts for many years. In this article, according to the situation in the world due to the prevalence of Covid-19 disease, e-learning and its effects on the educational system of the Faculty of Engineering of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad have been studied. It was attempted to study the issue of e-learning and its impact on the education system, considering the conditions created by the epidemic of this disease and the closure of face-to-face training centers in the second semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. In this regard, the statistical information of students of different educational levels of the Faculty of Engineering of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad has been used as a sample. For this purpose, in the first step, a questionnaire was designed to use the students’ opinions and then, using the obtained information, the necessary condition for presenting the courses electronically, in combination or in face-to-face form was determined. Given the possibility of converting a significant number of face-to-face classes to electronic or combined classes. This has led to the liberalization of some classrooms and will significantly help in improving, modifying and planning educational and research spaces.
