FACTORS HINDERING THE ACCEPTANCE OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS BY THE EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract
The area of Management Information System adoption with all its specifications in an organization is the main objective of this research. Synthesizing from the literature and practices, this paper proposes a research model that takes into consideration the 6 factors namely service quality, organizational capabilities, bugs encountered, system accessibility, top management support and training and education with 34 constructs in the secondary level school systems of Islamabad, Pakistan, and confirmed by a confirmatory factor analysis in AMOS. The impact of all the factors that hinders the utilization of management information system towards enhanced organizational performance by the educators are found significant using ANOVA and through standardized coefficients in linear regression.
