Abstract

The article deals with the International standard identifier for libraries and related organizations, according to ISO 15511:2011, and its implementation by institutions of the German-language area (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) is under consideration. Results, achieved aims and perspectives of the Document implementation in Ukraine are underlined.
