Creation of authority files for corporate body names: experience, possibilities, perspectives

In the article the experience gained is exposed, the possibilities, representations of perspective of creation of authoritative files on the name of the organizations are presented, which is an essential component of modern linguistic support of library information retrieval systems. Their creation requires from developers to study contemporary regulatory international documents and the experience of largest bibliographic agencies of the world, as well as to receive timely and reliable background bibliographic information on history, identifying geography features, etc. to ensure effective search. This work requires the study and implementation of contemporary international experience with the strategic aim of integrating national expertise into internationally reputable files such as VIAF.
