Abstract
The article analyzes the educational activities of the presidential libraries in the countries of the world, in particular the USA, the countries of Europe and the CIS. The best practices of using documentary resources of presidential collections to improve the educational process and promote historical knowledge and upbringing of patriotism and respect for state institutions, etc., are given. The scientific novelty of the paper is to highlight different approaches to the organization of promotion of the documentary heritage of presidential power through integration into the educational process.The educational activities of the presidential libraries and museums in the countries of the world are aimed at opening their own documentary archives and promoting the personality of the founding president, but also at forming in the youth respect for history and state institutions. The author considers the experience of applying the latest technologies in the educational process through the cooperation of presidential libraries and museums with educational institutions. Presidential libraries in the USA have the greatest experience and ability to apply modern information technologies. After all, having unique resources and sometimes sufficient financial resources, they can influence the interest of citizens in its history from school studios. But presidential libraries in other countries also integrate into the teaching and educational process and involve school and university teachers in collaborative projects that are implemented both in the library and on the Web. Since refining knowledge and applying absorption techniques to historical events by playing or reconstructing certain events is of interest to the younger generation and enhances the absorption of historical and political science materials.
