Abstract

The article deals with the problem of lexical interference and how to overcome such kind of problems with the help of innovative technologies. clarifies the notion of "interference", lexical interference; the types of lexical interference in the conditions of contact between the Uzbek and English languages are systematized. Lexical interference is defined as the borrowing of lexemes of a foreign language in bilingualism, which is expressed either in the transfer of a phonemic sequence from one language to another, or in shifts in the structure of the meaning of the lexeme of the native language, or in formations scalable according to the model of foreign words. In most of the existing definitions, interference is understood as both the process and the result of the interaction of language systems in bilingual speech, one of which is dominant, affecting the secondary, acquired language system.
