THE DISCIPLINE «FUNDAMENTALS OF PROJECT GRAPHICS» IN THE DESIGN STRUCTURE

The authors propose a conceptual approach to the content of educational discipline «Fundamentals of Project Graphics» for art institutions of higher education and analyze its important place in the Design structure. The study uses a system-structural method, through which it is possible to consider both individual components and design activities in general. A small retrospective of Graphics as art form is presented and its modern branches, tendencies, terminological base are considered. The results of this work are embodied in the educational complex of the specified propaedeutic discipline for designers of the first (bachelor's) level. It is noted that graphic means are used at all stages of the project process.
