Abstract
The problems which are to be settled by companies operating the time-chartered tonnage are determined. There are models which help to make a decision of using the rented tonnage in different segments of freight market (kinds of chartering). The specialties of forming the incomes and expenses of the operating company in different segments of market are shown.
