Russian as a foreign language in the university preparatory course: grammar and patterns

The article deals with the main conditions for teaching Russian to foreigners studying at the preparatory course of the Russian University. The article draws attention to the necessary elements of teaching Russian as a foreign language and provides a justification for choosing the traditional (analytical, consciouspractical) method, its advantages over the method of patterning in pre-university education.
