Abstract
Efficiency of the solar photovoltaic Panel is heavily influenced by the solar radiation and the temperature of the panel. The required energy to knock an electron from the valance band of photovoltaic cell is approximately 1.1eV. The energy higher or lower energy than 1.1eV is converted as heat and rises the temperature of the panel eventually reduction in the electrical power output. This current study is focused on the experimental analysis of electrical power reduction in the Polycrystalline solar Panel of 50W with respect to the temperature of panel during the sun shine hours. It is observed that the panel output power is decreased gradually with increase in panel surface temperature and simultaneously affects the efficiency.
